Top Tier Solar Solutions founder and chief executive officer Samuel Van Wynen was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Entrepreneur category in The 21st Annual American Business Awards®.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in theU.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 13. More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Thought Leader of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
Samuel Van Wynen, as founder of Top Tier Solar Solutions, was nominated in the Entrepreneur category for Energy. His nomination included details of what he has helped Top Tier Solar Solutions achieve in just under two years of business, including starting the company with no capital, private equities or investors and building it into the fastest-growing vertically integrated solar company in the nation. At just 25 years old, he has successfully expanded the business to be fully operational in three states and six locations. Additionally, the company has spun off successful alarm and roofing subsidiaries within its first year.
